Piano Tuning
Whatever your type or make of piano, we aim to optimise the sound and feel of the instrument for greatest enjoyment in playing. We use a combination of traditional and modern methods to achieve this. A piano should be tuned regularly (e.g. every six months). Regular tuning also provides an opportunity to correct minor problems,
Piano Repairs
A piano is a complex machine having over 12,000 individual parts. Minor problems such as sticking keys are common and are usually easy to correct. Sometimes the mechanism needs adjusting ("regulating"). In extreme cases worn-out hammers and broken or defective strings can be replaced. Whatever is required, we can quote you for a professional job.
THE KEYBOARD
A beautiful set of keys adds to the enjoyment of playing a piano. Stained and dirty keys can usually be brought back to life by buffing with a specialised cleaner. If keys are significantly damaged, the white key covers can be replaced with now ones.
